An early model Parr Calorimeter is now on display in the lobby of the Rogers Adams Laboratory at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. The calorimeter dates back to approximately the 1920’s and is featured below a plaque honoring Parr Instrument Company’s founder, Professor Samuel W. Parr who taught at the University of Illinois for many years. The calorimeter display is featured in the Spring/Summer 2015 issue of the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department’s newsletter Mass Transfer.
