New HP/HT Rotating Cylinder Electrode System

Parr's new High Pressure, High Temperature Rotating Cylinder Electrode (RCE) System was designed to perform corrosion studies as described in ASTM G185 at elevated pressure and temperature. This apparatus facilitates the evaluation of corrosion inhibitors in harsh, real world conditions, up to 200bar/2900psi and 200°C, with or without the presence of CO2 and/or H2S.
Parr’s new system is based on its popular 1 liter stirred reactor design and integrates robust counter and reference electrodes from Corr Instruments with dedicated sequencing software to control Gamry’s 1010B Potentiostat as well as Parr’s temperature and motor controller.
