Custom Parr Tubular Reactor Systems

Our experienced technical sales, engineering, and production teams work directly with you, your scientists and/or engineers to quickly, accurately, and economically proceed from system concept though manufacturing.

We offer custom designed high pressure/high temperature tubular and fluidized bed reactors in a variety of special alloys and sizes for the study of catalytic reactions in batch, continuous-flow, and multiple/parallel operation.

Tubular Reactor System with integrated Touchscreen Control

The new Tubular Reactor with Touchscreen Control from Parr was designed with researchers in mind and offers a compact footprint, easy set-up and integrated touchscreen control, all at a budget-friendly price. The reactor allows the use of traditional and non-traditional solid catalysts and has a standard pressure rating of 3000 to 5000 psi with temperature ratings to 550 °C.

Fluidized Bed Reactor with 3-Zone Ceramic Heater, cyclone separator, cooling condenser, and product receiver.

In Parr’s 5410 Fluidized Bed Reactors, the solids bed or catalytic particles are supported by an up flow of gas. Advantages of this reactor include easy loading and removal of catalyst, a high conversion with large throughput, tight temperature control, no hot spots in the bed, uniform catalyst distribution, and longer catalyst life.

Down-flow 5402 Tubular Reactor System with 20 mL volume, automated shutoff valves to safely shutdown in case of alarm/interlock, two gas feeds, one purge line, one liquid feed, and automated back pressure regulator. Automatically alternates between high pressure liquid collection and draining, with one of two heated gas/liquid separators collecting while the other drains.

Parr’s 5400 Tubular Reactor Systems offer an efficient and cost-effective way for researchers to meet their research requirements and specifications for continuous flow tubular and stirred reactor applications. Parr Tubular Reactors use continuous reactant feed, a variety of heating and product handling options, with automation and data collection options. Systems range in size from desktop to pilot plant.
