Hay varios factores que determinan la temperatura m\u00e1xima del recipiente a presi\u00f3n.<\/strong> Para casi todas las aplicaciones es el material de la junta. Los recipientes con juntas de junta t\u00f3rica est\u00e1n limitados a 225\u00b0C (y aquellos con FKM o FFKM est\u00e1n limitados a 300\u00b0C). Los dise\u00f1os de Parr para juntas contenidas de PTFE extienden el rango de temperatura de operaci\u00f3n hasta 350\u00b0C. El material de Grafito Flexible (FG) elimina la junta como factor limitante. Los l\u00edmites m\u00e1ximos de temperatura para los metales usados en estos recipientes est\u00e1n establecidos por el c\u00f3digo ASME y otros est\u00e1ndares. La mayor\u00eda de los metales tienen sus l\u00edmites de temperatura entre 400 y 800\u00b0C. La fuerza admisible para estos metales disminuye r\u00e1pidamente a medida que alcanza la temperatura m\u00e1xima de operaci\u00f3n. Por \u00faltimo, las dificultades con las roscas de los tornillos y otros elementos de cierre que operan a altas temperaturas establecen un l\u00edmite de temperatura pr\u00e1ctico para los recipientes con calefacci\u00f3n externa. Hemos encontrado que 600\u00b0C es un l\u00edmite razonable.<\/p>\n

Recipientes calentados internamente<\/h3>\n

Elementos Calefactores Expuestos<\/strong>
\nOtro m\u00e9todo que ha demostrado ser \u00fatil para ampliar el l\u00edmite de temperatura m\u00e1xima. En este dise\u00f1o el calefactor u hornilla se coloca dentro del Recipiente a Presi\u00f3n rodeado por una capa de aislamiento. Esto crea una zona caliente en el centro del recipiente y evita que las paredes excedan su l\u00edmite permisible. Dise\u00f1ados adecuadamente, se alcanzan temperaturas tan altas como 1200\u00b0C, las cuales se generan en el n\u00facleo del recipiente mientras que las paredes se mantienen por debajo de 250\u00b0C. Este sistema es energ\u00e9ticamente eficiente. Los calefactores internos pueden ser menos potentes que los externos. Los recipientes de calentamiento interno est\u00e1n equipados con alimentaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica aislada para alimentar la calefacci\u00f3n y termopares m\u00faltiples para monitorear y controlar las temperaturas en la zona caliente y la pared interna del recipiente. Las reacciones o estudios llevados a cabo en los recipientes con calentamiento interno deben limitarse a aquellos que no destruir\u00e1n los calefactores internos expuestos y el aislamiento. Estas son reacciones gas-s\u00f3lido normalmente controladas o estudios con tratamiento de calor en atm\u00f3sfera controlada. Los elementos calefactores generalmente son de cer\u00e1mica. Algunos usuarios han desarrollado calefactores y aisladores estilo inducci\u00f3n y han ampliado sus investigaciones por encima de 2500\u00b0C. Aunque los calefactores internos se pueden instalar en casi cualquier recipiente a presi\u00f3n sin agitaci\u00f3n, \u00a0vasos con I.D.s m\u00e1s grandes se requieren en la mayor\u00eda de las aplicaciones.<\/p>\n
