Parr Instrument Company is pleased to announce the completion of its expansion and renovation project. Construction of our brand-new 54,000-square-foot manufacturing facility was completed in February 2025. This new building now houses Parr’s manufacturing, shipping, receiving, assembly, and inspection departments.
The expanded space has allowed us to invest in advanced manufacturing equipment, including a new Mazak INTEGREX i-500S multi-axis CNC and a Mazak SLANT TURN 550 CNC Lathe. These additions enable us to manufacture our expanded standard vessel sizes—from 20 liters up to 100 liters—in-house, while significantly reducing production lead times.
To further improve efficiency, we have added four state-of-the-art Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) to our inventory department. These systems increase storage capacity, reduce floor space requirements, and streamline inventory picking. Prior to the installation of the VLMs, a standard order required approximately two hours to pick; we are now able to pick four jobs simultaneously in one hour.
Renovation of Parr’s existing facility began in May 2025 and was completed in December 2025. The former manufacturing shop has been transformed into modern administrative office space, expanding our administrative footprint from 14,000 square feet to 26,000 square feet.
Parr Instrument Company has long taken pride in the quality of the products we design and manufacture. With the completion of this expansion and renovation, that pride is now reflected in our workspace as well.
